Meet Mike
Mike was raised on a farm in Iowa surrounded by pigs, chickens, and dairy cows. From an early age, he developed a deep appreciation for animals, farming, and the outdoors.
His passion for raising animals the right way eventually led him to grass-fed beef production in 1993.
In 1994, Mike moved to Washington County near Brenham, Texas, where he continued building A Better Way Beef. Centrally located between Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, the ranch is ideally positioned to serve customers across Texas.
For over 30 years, Mike has remained committed to raising cattle naturally and responsibly—producing nutrient-dense beef with exceptional flavor and quality.
